Parents of lost babies and potential of all kinds: come here to share the technicolour, the vividness, the despair, the heart-broken-open, the compassion we learn for others, having been through this mess — and see it reflected back at you, acknowledged and understood.

Thanks to photographer Xin Li and to artist Stephanie Sicore for their respective illustrations and photos.

ttc | pregnancy | birth after loss > Testing after pPROM

I lost my daughter Annabelle at 20weeks because of pPROM. My water broke at 18 and we tried to hold on, but eventually there was no fluid left for her.
I have my first doctors appointment following her death coming up. I've already let my doctor know I want to be tested for GBS and do something to see if the c-section with my son had left scar tissue in my uterus. Has any one else that has experienced pPROM for no reason had any other tests done? What other questions should I be asking?
