Parents of lost babies and potential of all kinds: come here to share the technicolour, the vividness, the despair, the heart-broken-open, the compassion we learn for others, having been through this mess — and see it reflected back at you, acknowledged and understood.

Hi ladies sorry to have worried you ! My labor was not great she was stuck in the birth canal and I almosf got a csection . I will give more details but it was scary And she came out with the cord around her neck my sister almost fainted but she is Ok. I hAve a problem with my pelvis so bad i to crawl up stairs when I got home but she is worth it all. She looks just like her big brother benjAmin except the hair color! She has a full head of black hair! We keep calling her him and feel terrible but maybe it's beacuse of our dog? I prayed to benjamin during delivery and I felt he was with us I will post more asap
Congratulations Jenny!! So happy for you that your beautiful baby girl is here, safe and sound. Love the name - so pretty! I'm sure Benny was with you all through your delivery and afterwards. Brooklyn will grow up with her big brother watching over her, always. Much love to you, mama!
So glad to hear you are doing alright. I can imagine labor was very intense, I guess it was always going to be with a labor after loss. But you did it and she is here. Congratulations!!
Congratulations! Thank you for taking the time to check in. So glad to hear Benjamin's sister is here safe and sound. I had the same pelvic problem with my daughter and the pain was gone by 5-6 months. Sending quick healing energy to you. Enjoy sweet baby Brooklyn!
Welcome, Brooklyn! I'm so so glad to hear that she's here safely. We will all be interested to hear how you are all doing once you are up and in a better routine. Soak up baby. Its a difficult but beautiful time. Remembering Benjamin with you as well.
OH JENNY!!! Yeyeyeyeyey!! Just glad the silence wasn't something awful, though I'm so sorry you had such a terrible labor/delivery and are now suffering. I understand what you mean about her being worth it though. We'd go through pretty much anything to have them safe in our arms wouldn't we (despite my rants sometimes on the prego board)!!! I hope you recover quickly and there's nothing long-term or serious. And I hope you get to just soak her up and are surrounded by love from friends and family. I'd send you a pan of lasagna if I could!! Sending huge hugs!
Oh this just made my month Jenny! You so, so, so deserve this happiness. What a beautiful musical name (much better than Erica Moon, ha ha :-). Welcome, little sister Brooklyn!
I know it must be bittersweet, and I am so glad to hear you could feel Benny's presence around his little sister and yourself. I'm sorry to hear the birth was difficult (I cannot imagine how panicked you must have felt with the cord, given all the horror stories you know of), and I hope you recover soon and well enough to JUMP. For now, I (and I'm sure many of us) are jumping for you!
Much love to you and your children, and congratulations to you and your partner, please tell him that I am so glad his unwavering faith in having a miracle baby came to life!
Biggest congrats, Jenny!! Fantastic news that Brooklyn has arrived!! So lovely that you felt Benjamin's presence with you, and that Brooklyn looks like her brother. Hope you are recovering quickly.
Wonderful news to hear that Brooklyn is here! What a miracle. Congratulations Jenny - I know Benjamin is with you all. Also hoping the coming weeks and months go well with your recovery & adjustment. XO
