Parents of lost babies and potential of all kinds: come here to share the technicolour, the vividness, the despair, the heart-broken-open, the compassion we learn for others, having been through this mess — and see it reflected back at you, acknowledged and understood.

Thanks to photographer Xin Li and to artist Stephanie Sicore for their respective illustrations and photos.

I should be grateful that I have strength to weep.
I should be full of joy for the new life growing -
Anticipation, perhaps even eagerness.
But I have seen another path than life,
I have seen another ending to this tale.
Do I prepare a cradle or a casket?
Do I wear my ring or sell it?
Do I sleep or do I wake each morning?
Some things are choices - others are not.
But I cannot choose when I weep.

'But I have seen another path than life,
I have seen another ending to this tale.'

This line gave me chills, beautifully expressed.
I am truly sorry that you have had to walk this path.

WOW! I Love this poem. It speaks with emotion so deep you can only understand and feel it if you have been there. Remember you are not alone on your path, none of us are. Thank you for sharing with us.
