Parents of lost babies and potential of all kinds: come here to share the technicolour, the vividness, the despair, the heart-broken-open, the compassion we learn for others, having been through this mess — and see it reflected back at you, acknowledged and understood.

Thanks to photographer Xin Li and to artist Stephanie Sicore for their respective illustrations and photos.

ttc | pregnancy | birth after loss > *rips out hair*

Deep breath in.

It's Twitter. It's not a personal affront.

Deep breath out.

So I tweeted something about hating that I get my period when I'm not pregnant. Because my period sucks and not being pregnant sucks. Made a joke about how I should get a winning lotto ticket or something.

Someone whose sole job is likely to get traffic to their site via searching things like Twitter for opening tweeted me with 'Some Getting Pregnant Tips' - and I can't even tell you how much that has gotten my dander up.

I know, logically, just how ridiculous that is. But I'm still seething about it.

I know exactly how you feel. It's like the spammers who are trying to sell something post about having colitis on Foster's birth/death blog posting. Makes me incoherently angry.

Seethe away - I'm here, getting your back. In fact, I'm all for giving them a virtual spine punch.

I once tweeted about my dropping HCG levels with my mc, and apparently it's some stupid internet promoted diet, and I got spam tweets.
Lemme tell you, WAS NOT IN THE MOOD.
