Parents of lost babies and potential of all kinds: come here to share the technicolour, the vividness, the despair, the heart-broken-open, the compassion we learn for others, having been through this mess — and see it reflected back at you, acknowledged and understood.

Thanks to photographer Xin Li and to artist Stephanie Sicore for their respective illustrations and photos.

parenting after loss > Books for siblings

Hi all,

I was unsure if I should post here or within the library section.

I am after a book to share with my son to talk about the sister he never met. He's only a year old so this is a bit early, I know.

I don't believe in angels and want to steer clear of all heavenly talk. I found three potential books from the US and was wondering if anyone has read them?

- my baby big sister
- a rainbow baby story
- to my rainbow baby with love

Thank you!

Hi Gaby, I'm sorry I've not read them, but but wanted to say thanks for sharing these book titles. They look good, similarly to you, i want to talk to my son about his brother withour angels & heaven in our conversations! I think it's important for children (and for us all) to have places & resources to feel we belong & are not alone. X
